Just call me a mouseketeer. Really. Do it.
I love mint green for spring. I went on a hunt a few weeks ago for a great mint green piece. Starting to give up, I noticed this little fella across the store. Not for the color, but for Mickey Mouse. Everyone that knows me, knows I am a Disney fanatic. I'm actually listening to soundtrack of 101 Dalmations as I type this. And I also just bought front row tickets to Disney On Ice. Eat that, 5 year olds!! So we ventured around the Red Rock Canyon to find this little area with a creek. Does anyone else see the irony of happy-go-lucky me sporting the head honcho of the happiest place on earth in a vacant land of dead trees, cacti, weeds and barely any life? No? Whatever. But it does supply gorgeous scenery.
I love how the tee looks like a classic tee, but I just cut off the sleeves. Except it came like that. I probably could have cut off the sleeves it was a regular tee. Anyway, paired the tee with some really comfortable and form-fitting shorts that I've had for ages, and you get a perfect, simple summer look. In Vegas, some days are pretty much summer to the rest of the world. This is where the desert background fits into play. And what doesn't scream summer without a perfect pair of sunnies? Found these fantastic Jeremy Scott knockoff Mickey sunnies at Buffalo Exchange. Totally perfect for me and this outfit, right?
I was trying to be like, you know, magical and Disney.
Look! You can see Chrisie, my fabulous "manager"/photographer/friend/DrawSomething buddy in my sunnies!Mickey Tee - H&M
