Roll It Up

I'm so soft grunge, it hurts. I'm not even positive what soft grunge really is, except that the term is thrown around on Tumblr every 5 posts I see. But really, I have been SO digging the revival of 90's grunge. I've been waiting for this! I always incorporate 90's style into my outfits. I'm very much a decades girl, so I transition between different styles of different decades basically on a daily basis. I'm just very influenced by fashion in the past...which makes sense in my mind since fashion tends to recycle. Case in point with 90's grunge. But seriously, give me some combat boots, throw in some huge flannel and a distressed Pearl Jam tee, let me jam to Mad Season and I'm all set.
By the way, half of what I'm wearing is from Jac Vanek. Her and Nicole are absolute dolls. I helped them out at Warped Tour a few times and loved it! If you're diggin' the 90's vibe too, I definitely recommend checking out her store. Totally dope. I mean, check out the vintage army jacket from her? Probably the raddest thing in my closet. I always get weird looks, people laughing and tons of compliments when I wear it. Also, my pants are some Armani high waisted denims that I scored for a dollar at a thrift store. Gotta love thrift stores!

Favourite Jewellery of the Moment

I'm not afraid to admit I am obsessed with jewellery and I am a jewellery hoarder. It happens to the best of us. I'm such a sucker for unique pieces too. You'll hardly see me in jewellery that is super simple, unless the crazy pieces clashed with my outfit. Because I am crazy obsessed with jewellery, I really wanted to share with you guys some of the pieces I've been wearing a lot, which are also my current favourites.
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. I have been wearing this almost everyday since I've gotten it. It hardly leaves my palm. It's called a hand bracelet and it is from Windsor. I just haven't seen anything like it, so I had to spring on it. I always get questions if it is comfortable, and yes, it is. It's like one with me now. It goes with basically everything in my wardrobe and a lot of my rings. It's just perfect. I want more. PLUS, Lana Del Rey is wearing this (or possibly just a similar one) in her music video "Ride". I adore her and feel super cool for having the same/similar jewellery as her. Her's may be a Gaydamak, which I believe sell hand bracelets, but I'm not sure if they had this style.

This little gem of a bracelet ring is from a local boutique called Pearl, which I am in love with and happens to be really close to my house. I just love the spikes. It gives an edgy outfit that extra edge and extra kick. It's like WA-BAM, in your face, don't mess with me because I am spiky! I love the metallic sheen it has. It just goes well with soooo many of my outfits.

Oh look, another bracelet ring! Can you tell I love these? This is from Topshop. I'm pretty sure it came in a silver one as well. But I love the gold and really ties in a lot of my fall outfits. I love the intricate-looking design in the middle and the arrowheads hanging off. I must say, it's quite dangly and that can get annoying.

This is from a store called Rhapsodielle. I love the simplicity of this. It's perfect to just throw on with a blouse that may have a lot going on and I don't want to wear a big statement necklace. This is also fantastic for layering. I know you can find a similar necklace and a bracelet version on Brandy Melville.

Okay, I think I just love this for it's short neckline. It's almost choker-esque. The gold chain and ribbon gives it that Chanel feel. And I also love the bow with the stud that lays on the side of your neck. I've been mainly wearing this with a solid colour top or dress with a patterned pant, leggings or tights.

Here are some rings I've been wearing a lot lately. I have SO many rings, it is ridiculous. Rind finger: Urban Outfitters; Middle finger: Topshop; Pointerfinger: Vintage (knuckle ring) and H&M (branch).

Please excuse my shirt, I was a bit too lazy to change. Also ignore my messy room in the background. But this is also from Windsor. Such a great statement piece. I love wearing this with a solid colour top or dress. It also looks great with a one shoulder dress. It reminds me of armor.

What are your current favourite pieces of jewellery to wear? I'd love to hear about it or see a picture!

Week in Review

I feel like I've been taking over the blog from the other girls! Haha, hope they don't mind. I do like posting! Here's a little review of my past week in instagram pictures. It's mainly just random pictures, so just enjoy.
Yes, everyone. It does rain in Vegas. And when it rains here, it floods. Just some me and some new friends getting caught in a storm.
My favourite place to study and one of my favourite coffee houses in Las Vegas. It's one of those coffee shops where you walk in, and you just think "now, this is a real coffee house!" Their teas and lattes are to die for. And their pastries and desserts? HEAVEN. They happen to serve two of my favourite deserts: tiramisu and macaroons (pictures to the right).
I go to UNLV and SUCH a huge supporter/fan of my college. This past Saturday was our big rivalry game agains UNR were we battle for the prized Freemont Cannon. This is the biggest football game of the year for us. I had so much fun. Our tailgate was insane! We lost (42 - 31), but I still had fun. I won't get into much of the detail of the game, because that would lead me into a REALLY long post about our coaching, UNR, the game, and how much I absolutely despise Reno.

Feel free to follow me on instagram at jordanuhh :) Hope everyone is having a great week! Post your instagrams in the comments and I'll check everyone's out!

What the Water Gave Me

After typing two papers and studying for hours (and it's not even 2 pm!), I have no inspiration to type for this post.
Let the dress and pictures speak for it self. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? 6,000 words worth here...

I must say that I did feel a little Florence Welch-ish in my dress. Just obsessed with her though!

Missed Calls

This is a bit of a late post - these pictures were from over summer. But at least it's up, right? The phonebooth was too fun not to post."Better late than never" seems to be a phrase I've repeated a lot lately. We found this little jem of a phonebooth on our way home from another shoot, in fact. Lia pointed it out. How cool is it? It was an advertisement for a British Pub in a local casino. Let me tell you, it was a lot more difficult to get to just this one little phonebook than you would think. The phonebooth was locked, if you can see the chains around the handle. It would have been so much fun if we could have gone in it! But it was still cool to see it!
You can see my camera bag and Lia's camera bag and shoes to the left, haha.
Check out my rad bracelet ring! The anatomy lover in me (yes, I am an anatomy nerd) freaked out when I saw this. Must have for me.
